The BlueKey ™ series of products utilizes the Bluetooth wireless technology currently used for wireless headsets and in-vehicle hands free applications. We have adapted this wireless standard, which is integrated in most of the new mobile devices using a customized user interface application for the mobile device, then added a small receiver box to as a bridge between the mobile device to control almost anything you can think of.

OVERVIEW

The Bluekey Control System consists of a Java software application that resides in your cell phone and a transceiver control module. This Bluetooth transceiver control module is designed to control most general applications and includes relay contact outputs, one RS232 port and two monitoring/status inputs depending on the version.

By adding a key FOB transmitter(s), your cell phone to be used as an alternative remote control for your vehicle allowing additional control of Keyless Entry, Alarms, garage doors, or almost any known OEM or aftermarket product and can be customized for each individual user for the particular functions desired.

The user interface on the cell phone or mobile device uses a listing of user customizable functions that are operated simply by selecting or using the number keys.

The software application is downloaded to your cell phone wirelessly, then configured for your cell phone type. Additional compatible cell phones may also have the software downloaded.

The function labels, general operation and output functions may be changed through the software setup menu.

CELL PHONE SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

The cell phone software is installed by you on your phone and completely configured from your cell phone.  It requires a cell phone with Bluetooth, Java MIDP 2.0 and Java JSR-82.  To view the current list of compatible mobile devices go to: http://www.bluekeywireless.com/phones.html

The loading of the application itself will vary depending on the cell phone and the carrier. The application loading to the cell phone will be by either Over the Air (OTA), via your wireless carrier, or interface cable, Bluetooth interface, or Infrared from a computer.
